Thomas G. Quin

Thomas G. Quin's areas of expertise include business consulting and growth strategies, forensic accounting and litigation support, and CPA firm services such as Peer Reviews, team building and audit improvement consulting, among others. Tom is currently Partner in Charge and heads up the Accounting and Auditing group.

In addition to compliance activity such as financial statements and tax returns, Tom continues his entrepreneurial interests with consulting to various start-up organizations as well as family business. Sought after for his business acumen, Tom is comfortable in one-on-one sessions advising young entrepreneurs or with board level meetings discussing solutions to vexing problems. The combination of business experience, college level teaching, and being a peer reviewer, makes him a strong team member for litigation support as well.

Prior to QRGA, LLP, Tom started his business career as a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then as CFO for a venture capital backed medical company and a garment manufacturer. In 1988 he joined with his partner, Wes Rickard, to form the current practice. Tom has taught both MBA and undergraduate courses at Suffolk University and Stonehill College.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a long-standing member of the RAB committee of the MA Society of CPA's that oversees the Quality Control of CPA firms operating in Massachusetts.

Tom's community involvement consists of officer positions including former Chairman of the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the League School (Autism), and current community liaison member for the IRB of Norwood Hospital.

Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College and an MBA from Boston College.
